New Art Greeting Cards and Limited Edition Prints: Available Now

Pictured above are the six portraits I have included in one of the two sets of art print greeting cards that are now available for purchase. Each individual card is printed on the same paper as my archival giclee prints and are hand-signed and embossed. Perfect for gifting or keeping and framing.

What is a Monotype?

Monotype is an analogue printmaking process that involves painting (in this case) with oil-based ink onto a plexi sheet and printing it through a manual press. The resulting image is a unique, one-off piece of original art and incorporates mark-making that can only be achieved in this way. It is one of my favourite forms of image making and has historically been practiced by many of my favourite artists.

All artwork was created 2023 by me. It is both an exercise in mark-making and a spontaneous response to what I was experiencing at the time they were made. The portraits in particular are an extension of my lifework - deriving human qualities from limited and abstracted information.
